2021 Bluebird

The 2021 is a blend of 3 vineyards from the three corners of Sonoma County, showcasing the Appellation’s ability to produce world-class Sauvignon Blanc.  This wine was fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, and Malolactic fermentation was completely arrested.

Candied grapefruit, lemon-lime, mandarin orange, pineapple, and kiwi fruit all crowd the aromatics.  The palate is quite balanced, with a surprising amount of weight countering the citric nature typically present in Sauv Blanc.  Excessive amounts of layered tropical fruit and orange fruit also command attention.  Kissed acidity and sweet fruit round out the finish.
