The nose is refined, warm, and layered, with notes of melted chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, and rich dark cherry. The palate is absolutely seamless, and even though it’s a relatively young wine, it comes across as an old soul. The fruit goes formal, and hints of juicy strawberry and blackberry dance with flattering tannin and oak encouraged flavors. The finish betrays just a hint of acidity, creating a bit of an edge to the otherwise spherical profile of the wine.
